Boulder Woods Campground Rules and Regulations

We want everyone to have a good time here at Boulder Woods Campground. These rules are here for your comfort and your safety. If you have any questions about our rules, please come and see us.

Boulder Woods Campground Rules

To preserve the pristine beauty of Boulder Woods, and to promote harmony among its campers, we ask that everyone abide by these rules.

  • You must be 21 to reserve a site. The person making the reservation must occupy the site.
  • Speed Limit is 5 mph – please drive cautiously and always watch for children.
  • QUIET TIME is from 11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please Observe! Children under 18 must be at their campsite by 11:00 p.m. and must be always supervised by an adult parent. Violation of quiet time rules will result in an immediate expulsion from the campground, without refund.
  • Stay on Boulder Woods Campground property.
  • Camp Skymount Road is a PUBLIC ROAD…… NOT a campground road. Please do not let your children hang out on Camp Skymount Road and use caution when crossing. Please inform your children.
  • Patio lights should be turned off when leaving the campground and when retiring for the night. No spot lights.
  • Campfires must remain in fire ring provided. Do not leave campfires unattended.
  • You are responsible for your children. Please do not let them wander through other’s site or leave them unattended. Vandalism and disrespect for persons or property will not be tolerated.
  • Bathhouses – Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult parent. Please keep all personal items with you in bathhouses. Any personal items left in the bathhouses will be removed when they are cleaned.
  • You are responsible for the registration and behavior of any visitors to your site. Visitors must register with the office and then leave the campground by 11:00 p.m.
  • VISITORS are persons whom you have not registered on your site. They must stay with you in your trailer. No other camping unit or tent may be placed on your site for this purpose. Guests may obtain a rental site for their camper or tent (based on availability) at the store.
  • CAMPERS, you are responsible for the registration and behavior of any visitors at your site.
  • BICYCLES must be returned to your site by dusk. All bikes must be in the rack while at the pool or store. Parents, please inform your children on this rule.
  • BICYCLE HELMETS must be worn by children 12 years of age or under. This is a state law and not Boulders. Parents, please inform your children of this rule.
  • PETS are the sole and full responsibility of the owners and are liable for cleaning up after them, keeping them leashed and well behaved within the grounds. Disturbing the neighbors by the pets is not permitted.
  • Please place trash in a secure plastic bag and place by road by noon on Sunday. If you are leaving before Sunday, please place trash in our dumpster. (See site map for location of dumpsters)
  • Televisions, radios, etc. should be heard at the site you’re occupying only. Loud and boisterous gatherings will not be permitted.
  • Firearms – Any and all kinds…. air guns, BB guns, slingshots, paint guns and fireworks are prohibited.
  • Our Lake is for Catch and Release Fishing Only. No Fishing License is required. NO SWIMMING IN LAKE. Please use our map for directions to our lake. (Please see Lake Rules)
  • Pool is open from Memorial to Labor Day weekend. (See Pool Rules)
  • Boulder Woods Family Campground assumes no responsibility for the health or safety of the Seasonal Campers, their family, or their guests. All activities within the campground shall be deemed at one’s own risk. These activities shall include, but are not limited to swimming, fishing, hiking, hayrides, using playground equipment, and/or participating in any other campground activity.
  • Wood – Camper agrees that they will not bring pallets, pressure-treated or painted wood into the campground for purposes of burning. It is illegal to burn pressure-treated wood in the state of Pennsylvania. Removal of trees or branches is strictly prohibited. There is a forestry ban on moving any type of firewood from other states currently in the state of PA due to the Emerald Ash Borer.
  • Water – We are on well water, not city water. Please be considerate of your water usage. All hoses should be drip free. All vehicle washing is strictly prohibited.
  • Police – If the police are called on the behalf of any camper, Boulder Woods Family Campground has the authority to require those campers to leave the campground immediately with no refund.
  • WIFI is available at our campground, however, due to our location, we cannot always guarantee service. Password is – BoulderWoods.
  • Violators of the rules and regulations will be asked to leave without any refund.
  • $35.00 fee for returned check.
  • The Camping Season is from April 1st to October 31st.

Management reserves the right to make necessary changes in the rules and regulations to be in the best interest of the campground. Anyone refusing to abide by the rules and regulations or creating a disturbance will be asked to leave without refund. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Boulder Woods Campground Lake Rules

This Lake is private property, made available for the enjoyment of Boulder Woods campers and guests only! All other public use is restricted. The following rules apply to all who use the Boulder Woods Lake facility. Failure to abide by the Lake Rules may adversely affect your stay here at Boulder Woods.

NO SWIMMING, wading, bathing, or otherwise somehow getting yourself in the Lake.

NO BOATING of any kind is permitted.

FISHING is permitted. Catch and Release Only. Use barb less hooks only. A fishing license is NOT required if you are a Camper. Do not remove any from the lake area. Removal of fish from the Lake will result in the immediate revocation of all Lake Privileges and/or other restrictions as deemed necessary by the Boulder Woods Management.

PICNICKING is permitted provided all trash is removed when finished.

CHILDREN under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Our biggest problem at the Lake has been litter. We are sure you don’t want to see trash in the woods or on the shore and the fish tell us they don’t want to see it in the Lake either. Thank you for your cooperation

Wed 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Thurs 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Fri 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Sat 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Sun (open after church) – 5:00 p.m

* Pool hours may vary on holiday weekends

  • POOL ATTENDANTS HAVE FULL AUTHORITY
  • When a Pool Attendant is not on duty an adult must supervise children under 16.
  • Proper attire is required – this means bathing suits no street wear
  • Water in plastic bottles only – NO OTHER BEVERAGES ALLOWED
  • NO GUM ALLOWED IN POOL OR POOL AREA
  • NO FOOD– this means no candy or chips or snacks
  • All persons with long hair must tie it back
  • No Pets allowed in the pool area
  • No running in pool area
  • No diving allowed
  • Adult pool is for adults 18 and older
  • No rafts permitted in the family or kiddie pool
  • No basketballs or other sport balls allowed in the pool
  • Please put cigarette butts in proper container
  • Please put TRASH IN TRASH CANS
  • NO horse play in the Pool area
  • Profanity will not be tolerated. Please respect your fellow campers and their children.
  • Parents are RESPONSIBLE for the safety and actions of their children.
  • Any Damage done to Pool Property will be the financial responsibility of the parent or guardian.Revised: July 19, 2024
